SOAK IN

.“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” — Revelation 3:16

Soak this in.
We can no longer be lukewarm. We live in a world where compromise has been dressed up as wisdom, and comfort has been mistaken for peace. Yet, the sad reality is this: sometimes the most corrupt of places is where you would least expect—inside hearts, institutions, and even sanctuaries where truth should be burning bright.

We have entangled ourselves so much with the world’s systems, opinions, and fleeting pleasures that we risk losing our true identity.

We forget that we were called to be salt and light—distinct, preserving, and shining in the midst of darkness.

Pause and ask yourself: How would the person who knows you best identify you as?
Would they see Christ formed in you—patient, kind, steadfast, holy? Or would they see a version of you blurred by compromise and entanglement?

The Lord is calling us back to Himself, not halfway, but fully.

To be marked by clarity, not confusion. To stand as living testimonies of His transforming grace. This is not about being perfect, but about being aligned. When we soak ourselves in prayer, in the Word, and in obedience, we are reminded of our true name: children of God, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.

Today, let your identity not be hidden behind what the world thinks of you. Instead, let it be soaked in what God has spoken over you. Choose to step out of lukewarmness into wholehearted devotion.

Amen. What a blessed time to just sit back and ponder on our true identity and how its impact on us and others as well.
