I love that phrase — God has dealt graciously with me. Jacob isn’t just talking about possessions; he’s testifying about a God who rewrote his story. This is a man who once schemed, ran, feared, and wrestled through the night. Yet here he stands, facing the very brother he wronged, not empty, not defensive, not begging — but full. Full enough to give. Full enough to say, I have enough. That’s what grace does. It doesn’t just add things to your life; it heals the places where lack once shouted loudest.
I used to really enjoy moments at Hakicar Auto Care ( The Best Wash in Ruiru). I think it still is, and as many that would down play with the fruits of our Labour at that Centre. the 4 years or so, formed a very formative sphere of my life; one that fully depended on God and Him opening doors and causing overflow, God, allowing that centre to support several livelihoods, even take some to school for short courses and all, truly, The Lord dealt with us graciously.
One of my greatest memories, is 07/07/2025, as roads were closed and all, The Boys and I were at an Airbnb in Kimbo (pictured), thanking God for sustaining us, through the year, and we were celebrating wins to and with each other. What Joy. What Blessedness. The Lord dealt with us graciously
One Time, I made a phone call, in some despair, and that I know, he would want this to still be in confidence, A man, I look up to, and we share a Birthday, paid for a whole New Machine, when the one we had was giving us problems. I remember him saying, pengine baraka yake, iko kwa iyo Usaidizi. The Lord dealt with us graciously.
Then, there is Family, who, yaani, tears for joy and remembrance… Who gave selflessly, mpaka unashindwa, so akishafanya ivi, yeye mwenyewe ako in what state, nie ma! The Lord bless you bigtime, I may not repay, how do I start even, My Prayer to you, every single day, The Lord deal with you graciously
The Very Gracious Lord meets us on the road we’re afraid to walk, softens hearts we thought were hardened forever, and supplies peace where anxiety once camped. And when He deals graciously with you, you don’t cling — you release. You don’t compete — you testify. You don’t fear loss — because you know the source.
Today, may you recognize this: if you are still standing, still breathing, still hopeful, then grace has already been at work. And like Jacob, you can say it without pride, without apology — the Lord has been very gracious to me.
May you experience this Grace, this week in Jesus Name!!
And maybe that is the quiet invitation of this text — to pause and look back without shame, without regret, without minimizing. To trace the fingerprints of God in places we once thought were just survival. To realize that even the seasons that felt stretched, uncertain, or heavy were held together by grace we didn’t know how to name at the time. When you truly see it, gratitude becomes natural, worship becomes honest, and humility becomes easy — because you know, it could only have been God.
So this week, as you step into meetings, responsibilities, conversations, and even silence, may this confession sit firmly in your heart: The Lord has dealt with me graciously. Let it steady you. Let it soften you. Let it free you to give, to forgive, to believe again.
And when you look ahead — not knowing all the details — may the same grace that carried you then, go before you now.
