Romans 5:5 (NIV):
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
A good friend of mine was sharing yesterday about waiting patiently. The way she explained it really stuck with me. She said, “No matter the machine or automobile you’re in—you’ll still get to your destination.” Whether it’s a tuk-tuk, a matatu, a bicycle, or a sleek German machine… eventually, we all arrive. Then she said something that made us laugh but think deeply: “You might see me way behind, but punde si punde—you’ll be struggling to trace me ahead of you!” We may not all move at the same speed, but we are all moving. Utafika tu… it’s just a matter of time.
Hope, hope doesn’t disappoint.
That’s not just a slogan—it’s Scripture. It’s an anchor for the soul. Hope keeps you from collapsing when life feels slow and stagnant. God’s love poured into your heart through the Holy Spirit gives you the strength to wait even when you don’t feel strong. You’re not wasting time—you’re being prepared.
Hope, hope doesn’t disappoint.
Because your story is being written by a faithful Author. The journey might feel delayed, but the destination is secure. Even when others seem to be speeding past you in life, don’t lose heart.
The wait isn’t punishment—it’s part of the process. God’s timeline is not your timeline, but it is always perfect.
Hope, hope doesn’t disappoint.
Think about Hannah, who waited through tears, or Joseph, who waited through betrayal and prison. Their hope in God brought them to powerful, purposeful moments. Likewise, your waiting is not in vain. Something beautiful is being born in silence.
Hope, hope doesn’t disappoint.
Because God is not only walking with you—He’s working in you. And while others might look like they’re getting “there” faster, your journey is handcrafted for your growth, your calling, and your impact. Let your hope stay alive, not because everything is fine, but because God is with you in everything.
Friends, Children of God…. Keep your Hope alive… above all else… Don’t loose Hope
