“And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'” Romans 10:15 (NIV)
This past weekend, I found myself moving from Vasha to Naivasha Road, my feet (and my Kadudse!) putting in serious mileage. At some point, I whispered to myself, “Heee… na sinimeemda sana!”So much movement. So much activity.
But then came a still, quiet voice in my spirit:
Uliza Kiatu — Ask your shoes.
You see, life is full of engagements. Places to be. People to meet. Events to attend. But while we are constantly on the move, the real question is — are we moving for God?
Paul reminds us in Romans that the feet of those who carry the Good News are beautiful. Not because of their physical appearance, but because of their purpose. They go to places not just to be seen or to socialize — they go to make Jesus known.
So here’s a sobering check:When you walk into that event, that matatu, that chama, that office…
When you show up at a party or a funeral…Do people feel the presence of God in your presence?
Can anyone say, “I want to know the God you serve”?
Let’s not just be busy with movement — let’s be intentional with mission. Let our feet, our going, our engagements, be assignments.
Because one day, your shoes will testify.
Uliza Kiatu — did you carry Good News or just good vibes?

Nice one blasle. Good morning.
Good News is good vibes 😅. Blessed week ahead.
