Last four or so days I was in Ruai ministering to a Parish as is led and Chaired by Rev Dishon Gathome ( in the words of a Colleague Warden) who also happens to be a Spiritual Son of the Host Senior Pastor
I remember when I got the invite, the first feeling was.. Hee… Revival yote, mimi sasa, yes I have shared in several pulpits..by God’s enabling Grace…bt I asked myself..Heee…a Whole conference…nitawezana..But by God’s Grace… we did it…. Glory to His Name alone.
God’s grace is never in short supply. He equips those He calls.
Intentionality doesn’t mean you feel ready — it means you’re willing to obey.Like David in Acts 13:36, we are called not to impress but to serve God’s purpose in our generation.
That takes more than talent — it takes intention.
It takes waking up every day and saying, “Lord, not my will, but Yours.” I saw this truth unfold, What began with a little hesitation turned into a flow of divine assurance. We said what God placed on our hearts. No more, no less.
We didn’t perform — we obeyed. And obedience brings fruit.—🔍. Have you been Intentional on what God purposes for your life?
Reflect on this
- Are you showing up for God’s purposes even when you feel inadequate?
- Have you allowed fear to silence a word God has put in your heart?
- Are you serving or just watching?
💡 Truth is: God’s purposes will always be bigger than your comfort zone.
You may not always feel ready — but intentional hearts get used by God. The world doesn’t need more polished speakers; it needs present vessels.
That’s what I was reminded of in Ruai: Just show up. Let God do the rest.
