“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” – Hebrews 4:13 (NIV)
Yesterday, I was calling out to a certain artisan from a distance. He couldn’t see me—but I could see him clearly. I watched as he checked his phone ringing, paused, then silenced the call and slipped the phone back into his pocket.
Later that evening, I bumped into him at the stage and casually asked, “Mbona huku shika simu?”
Without blinking, he replied, “Nilikuwa nimeacha simu kwa nyumba.”
I just said, “Sawa sawa.”
But deep inside, I knew the truth. And as I walked away, I felt God nudge my heart.
That’s how we treat Him sometimes.
He calls—convicting us gently, tugging at our hearts, prompting obedience—but we silence Him. Then when the moment comes to account, we exalt ignorance: “Nilikuwa busy,” or “Haina haja, Mungu ataelewa.”
Yet, like me watching that artisan, God sees it all. Nothing escapes His gaze.
He’s not looking to condemn us—but to remind us: Be honest with Me. I already see everything.
So today, don’t ignore the call. Pick it up. Respond with truth. He’s not far—He’s near and waiting.
He has good plans for You. Plans for Hope and a Future.. Question is, Do you believe??
