Nothing is as hurting for one to feel as if they have been Taken for Granted. Have you ever thought though…If you have taken God for granted??

From the details of your daily needs to the hidden prayers whispered in your heart, God cares deeply. He listens when no one else does. He opens doors you didn’t even knock on. And still, we worry. We act like orphans when we have a Father who cares more than we’ll ever comprehend.

His constant protection: Taken for granted.

So many dangers you didn’t even see — He blocked. So many battles you didn’t even fight — He won. That near-miss. That delayed journey. That gut feeling that saved you. His hand was there. And yet, we often move through life unaware of just how protected we truly are.

Him sending His Son on the Cross: Taken for Granted.

The Cross is not just a story; it’s a rescue mission. He gave up His only Son — not after we repented, but while we were still sinners. Jesus didn’t just die for humanity — He died for you. And yet, the cross becomes routine, the sacrifice overlooked, the grace assumed. But it cost heaven everything.

• Have I been guilty of taking God’s love, care, protection, and sacrifice lightly?

• Where do I need to repent and return to a place of deep gratitude and reverence?
