Many times, we walk through life unaware of the authority, access, and identity we have as believers. But the truth is this — you are not ordinary. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). It is necessary to see yourself as God sees you: chosen, set apart, and dearly loved. When you understand your position, you stop fighting for approval and begin living from a place of divine assurance.
It is Necessary to Appreciate the Promises Over Your Life.
God’s promises are not mere words — they are His covenant. His Word over your life is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89). You have promises of peace, provision, strength, and a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). In seasons of delay, don’t despise the wait. Appreciate that He who promised is faithful. Even when things seem silent, His Word is still working.
It is Necessary to Appreciate That the Lord Will Never Leave You.
God is not seasonal. He is not like people who come and go. He says, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). It is necessary to embrace this truth — that even in your darkest hour, He is present. Even in your questions, His hand is holding you. Don’t allow fear to lie to you. You are never alone.
It is Necessary to Appreciate That You Are a Child of God.
This is your identity. Before the titles, before the struggles, before the victories — you are a child of the Most High. That means you have access to the Father’s heart and home. It means grace covers you and purpose follows you. It means heaven knows your name. And that, dear one, is reason enough to stand tall, to hope again, and to keep walking.
Let this be your anchor today: It is necessary to remember who you are, whose you are, and what has been spoken over your life.
