“The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance.” Acts 12:6
This word that hit me jana when I read about it from a very Respected Minister quoting this verse above… Wow!! Effortlessly
Peter was in a situation that, to human eyes, was sealed. Two chains on his hands. Two soldiers on each side. Heavy security at the door. And yet, in the middle of that impossible scene… he was asleep. Not restless. Not pacing. Not overthinking. Just asleep.
Because when God steps in, what we see as mountains are just small pebbles to Him.
Iyo kitu unaona ikiwa ngumu sana… imagine kwa God hakuna impossibility… aki hakuna.
The next few verses in Acts 12 tell us that an angel appeared, a light shone, the chains fell off Peter’s wrists, and he walked out past every guard. Not a fight. Not a struggle. Not even a whisper of panic.
It happened… effortlessly.
Sometimes we are like Peter — stuck in situations where every exit looks blocked. A sickness that’s been there for years. Bills that don’t add up. A child’s life going in the wrong direction. A heart weighed down by grief. And we think, Hii lazima ichukue nguvu sana to solve. But for God? Hakuna nguvu anahitaji kukaza.
All He needs is one command. One whisper. One move. And chains — whether they’re physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual — will fall off you so effortlessly that you’ll wonder if you were even bound in the first place.
So today, table it.
You bring it on.
Lay it before the One who sees no impossibility.
He will defeat it, conquer it, and set you free… effortlessly.
Because when God works, there’s no sweat, no strain — only glory to His name.
