Kim :(Talk to Self): DROP THE ACT

Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

In a world that thrives on appearances, it’s easy to fall into the trap of living for what people see. We curate our image, polish our words, and often, hide the parts of us that feel broken or unworthy. But God isn’t impressed by outward perfection — He searches the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).

There is power in allowing God to examine us deeply. When we invite Him into the corners of our hearts — the fears, pride, wounds, and desires — He doesn’t condemn. He lovingly reveals, heals, and transforms. It’s not about putting on a spiritual show, but being genuine before the One who truly knows us.

Tuwache kujichocha. Let’s stop pretending. God is not looking for hype; He’s looking for honesty.

Growth begins with truth. If we want to grow in faith, in love, in purpose, we must learn to pause, reflect, and check n check our motives, our attitudes, and our walk with Him.

Today, give yourself permission to be real. Drop the act. Let your heart be soft before God.

That’s where transformation begins.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” — Psalm 139:23

Will you let God examine your heart today?
