Waaaah – 5XL

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” — Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

The other day I met a guy who sells really good thrift T-shirts—one of those guys who can just look at you and know your size. He deals with all types—M, L, XL—but this time, I asked for 5XL.

He paused. Looked again. Then asked, “Heee… hii ni Binadamu kweli?”
He was completely shocked. You’d hear him saying, “Yaani… haamini kabisa!”
In that moment, I could see it on his face—pure disbelief that someone could be that size. 5XL. It didn’t register to him. It was beyond his imagination.

And that’s when it hit me:

The Lord can surprise you.
Yes, He can.
It’s in His very nature.
To go beyond what you or others can imagine.

Just like Baba Nyaguthi didn’t think 5XL existed in real life—
God will do something in your life that will leave people saying, “Heee… hii ni Binadamu kweli?”

There are moments God steps in so powerfully, that even you start feeling like you want to intercede on behalf of God to handle the situation.

Like, “God, are You sure You’ve got this? This one is too big!”

But just the other day—
He came through for us in such a BIG way,
one of those testimonies that makes you whisper,
“Only God could have done this.”

That job?
That breakthrough?
That healing?
That favor you didn’t even ask for?

He did it.

You may be in a place of waiting,
A place of impossibility,
Or even a place of disbelief—
But God wants you to know:

He can do it for you.
And He will do it for you.

Not because you deserve it,
Not because you worked hard enough,
But simply because He is God—
Able. Faithful. Good.

So next time you hear someone say “5XL?” with shock,
Smile. Because you serve a God of the unimaginable.
