The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,” says the Lord Almighty. “And in this place I will grant peace.” —Haggai 2:9
Dr. Sarah K… said this a few days ago: she recorded the trending song Gachumbiri/Pale Kilele back in 1995. At that time, it probably blessed hearts but so quietly. Then, just the other day when she redid it—within 10 days, it had 1 million views, and last I checked it was just about to clock 2 million views on YouTube. It doesn’t matter that it was recorded 30years ago in a Radio Cassette ama ni Floppy Disk…🤣🤣
When the Lord says it’s your time… aaaah… IT DOESN’T MATTER how long you have been waiting. It doesn’t matter who ignored you. It doesn’t matter how many seasons seemed silent.
All that matters… is that it’s your due season. It’s your time.
Beloved, God is never late. His timing is not our timing, but it is always perfect. Sometimes you may feel overlooked, forgotten, or delayed—but heaven’s calendar cannot be tampered with. Your assignment, your blessing, your lifting, your testimony—they all have an appointed time.
Haggai’s prophecy reminds us that the latter glory can outshine the former glory. What looked small, hidden, or forgotten is never wasted—it is simply seed waiting for its season. And when that season comes, it blossoms with a beauty that makes up for every year of waiting.
Gachumbiri Song….reminds us: what may look delayed in human eyes is never denied in God’s eyes. He has stored it for the fullness of time.
When it comes, it comes with speed, it comes with favor, and it comes with an undeniable mark of God’s hand.
So wait with hope. Trust His seasons.
When the Lord says it’s your time, it will break through every wall, silence every doubt, and overshadow every “not yet” you’ve heard before.
And when you reach the summit of your waiting, may this be your song too:
Pale kilele, namuona Yesu
Ananisubiri, nimalize salama
Anikumbatie kwa mikono yake
Na aseme mi ni mshindi
