YE OF LITTLE FAITH

Matthew 6:30 (KJV)
“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?”

So my Elder brother n sister, other than being siblings, are very good friends… that one can tell.
So one was telling the other about a story I will share one day, but after giving their remarks, they ended with the words… YE OF LITTLE FAITH.

This really got me thinking… how many times have we gone to God and trusted for something, but again showed little faith in His Capacity and Capability to do it?

We forget that God has no limitation. What He has spoken, He is able to perform.

Yet in our humanity, we start reasoning, calculating, and sometimes doubting whether it will really come to pass.

And sometimes, we start out with so much faith, so much fire, and so much confidence — but along the journey, we give up too soon. We let delays convince us that God has forgotten. We allow obstacles to silence our prayers. We let waiting feel like denial.

But Jesus gently rebuked His disciples in the storm saying, “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?” (Matthew 8:26). He wasn’t angry; He was pointing them back to trust. The same voice that commanded the winds and the sea is the same voice that speaks over our situations today.

Faith isn’t the absence of challenges. Faith is holding on in the midst of them, believing that God is still God, and He is still able.

It is choosing to believe beyond what your eyes can see. So, my friend, the next time fear creeps in, or doubt starts whispering, remember those words — YE OF LITTLE FAITH.

Not as condemnation, but as a reminder that God is calling you higher. He is saying, “Trust Me deeper. Depend on Me fully. I am more than able.”
Don’t give up too soon. Don’t abandon what you started in faith.

The same God who began the good work will be faithful to complete it.

Today, let’s make a decision: to rise above little faith, and walk in full trust of a limitless God.
