“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” : Psalm 34:8 (NIV)
There are seasons in life when everything seems noisy—notifications buzzing, life pulling in every direction, expectations rising like floodwaters. At the same time, deep inside, there’s a craving that no status, possession, or relationship can silence. That’s when you realize: satisfaction isn’t the same as fulfillment.
A friend of mine said something hilarious and She was in the midst of a challenging Season, yet so deep: “Mimi sihitaji simu za ‘niokolee, nifanyie, ni nini nini’… Nataka zile za ‘Form ni gani?’ Zile za ‘Tunaenda Shiato’.” 😄 Whueeh, Apostle round hii ametrend.
We laughed, but beneath that joke is a universal truth: we’re tired of surviving. We want to live. We want meaning. We want purpose. We want God.
The truth is, when you align with God’s purposes, everything else begins to find its place.
The stress, while real, no longer defines you. The baggage, though heavy, is carried with help. The laughter becomes more genuine, not forced. Even the simple moments—like walking with a friend or singing in a matatu—become sacred.
I don’t know what you’re carrying today. Maybe it’s disappointment. Maybe it’s the pressure to prove yourself. Maybe it’s grief, or fear of what’s next.. But I’ll say this with my chest: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOD.
Not religion. Not performance. But GOD—who sees you, knows you, and wants to walk with you.
He doesn’t just fix; He fulfills. He doesn’t only provide; He transforms.
- What area of your life feels unfulfilled right now?
- Have you truly tasted God’s goodness lately, or have you only heard others talk about it?
- What’s one way you can realign to God’s purpose this week?
The world will keep recommending quick fixes. But for peace, purpose, and true joy—I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOD.
